Get ready for a mouth-watering treat with this homemade Bacon, Melted Cheese, and Onions Beef Burger. This burger combines juicy beef patties, crispy bacon, melted cheese, and caramelized onions for a perfect bite every time.
Ingredients:
1 ½ pounds ground beef (80% lean)
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
For the Toppings:
8 slices bacon
4 slices cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon butter
4 burger buns
Lettuce leaves
Tomato slices
Pickles
Condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo)
Instructions:
Prepare the Patties:
In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape into patties.
Cook the Bacon:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
Caramelize the Onions:
In the same skillet, add the butter and sliced onions. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the onions are soft and caramelized, about 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
Cook the Patties:
Preheat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
Place a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to allow it to melt.
Assemble the Burgers:
Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a skillet until lightly browned.
On the bottom half of each bun, layer lettuce, a burger patty with melted cheese, bacon slices, caramelized onions, tomato slices, and pickles. Spread your favorite condiments on the top half of the bun.
Serve:
Serve the burgers immediately with your favorite side dishes.
